Anyone had probs w/ syncing TPMS?

Put my new AMR wheels/tires/tpms sensors on my '13 and followed the instruction dvd included w/ the kit. Turned the key from off to run three times, pushed the brake pedal and the key three more times w/ no response that the system is ready to sync. Bummer. Talked w/ AMR and they had no immediate solution but offered multiple others that may be satisfactory down the road.

In the mean time am going to Ford tomorrow after talking w/ the service manager and see if there's something they may do to help. But............was wondering if any one can offer some ideas why the sensors won't sync (other than maybe they put the wrong ones in.)

I put on Saleen wheels with new Ford TPMS and never had to do anything - never used the remote or anything else.

Update: something told me to try the sync tool on the take offs I had stacked about six away from the car - et viola! the top wheel/tire/tpms assembly synced, then tried the second one and it synced as well.

Conclusion: either the tpms shipped w/ my wheels are a different variety or there are none installed. Either way I now knowthe sensors are at fault. I know AMR will make this good as they were wanted to go beyond steps that I willing to do before i trouble shot this.

Will report back.

The sensors may not be bad. They might be asleep. You can try to let the air out the tire and reinflate it to wake the sensor up and then try to sync it.

Thanks for the reply.

That's exactly what I did a few minutes ago. Whoda thunk, huh?
