~ Got Some Stripes ...... PlastiDip

Well I got a chance to lay down some stripes......they are done in "PlastiDip" so they can be easily removed. I am gonna leave them on for a few days to see how I like them. If I decide to keep them I will buy some actual vinyl to replace them with!

What do you think?

Here's the car BEFORE the stripes.....

Looks alot better with the stripes, I like it alot. I think you should get the vinyl, it really brings the car to life with them. I was going to do the same thing with plasti-dip. I was going to do the whole spoiler, decklid, roof, side mirror caps, rims and hood spears.

I followed the front of the raised portion of the hood. The Stripe stops at the same point that the "Hood Spears" stop. If I decide to do the Vinyl I might go all the way down the hood.

Looks real nice... It does not hurt the finish/clear coat? Definitely going to do the brembo wheels if I ever get the car.

Your car looks fantastic, Uin2it. With or without the stripes.
It's super clean looking and very tastefully done, Sir.
You enjoy the heck out of it now, you hear ?----Bill

When I saw this thread title I was going to rip on you for putting plasti-dip on your paint but it looks nice. IMO I would get some measurements and get some vinyl or if you can swing it paint the stripes on.

Dont care for them, looks kinda like the factory stripe my 13 came with. Pulled it off as soon as I got home. Your car looks so clean with no stripes

Thanks for all the comments guys....the positive AND the negative ones! Helps me decide.

I talked to a body shop today about getting them Painted on (Flat/matte black)
Total cost was $575, I'm gonna talk to another shop tomorrow to compare. Vinyl would be cheaper, but paint is better IMHO.
