Used 2015's
I was driving past my local ford dealer today and had to look twice as I saw a 2015 ecoboost sitting in the used car lot.
I know there are prob a lot of reason why that car is there ...but it just struck me as odd knowing that the '15's havent been out a year yet.

Got sick of hearing "you're missing half the engine" ?

I have seen some posts were people traded their EB in for a GT for one reason or another. It is not for everyone. However, it could be anything from repos to the car being a demo car. If make your car buying decisions based on what people say about your car, you are in a world of hurt buddy!

How about a used 50th Anniversary Limited Edition for a little over $49,000 with 845 miles on it. Listed by a dealer. I thought about it, but then noticed someone had added to the odometer after the trade in as the CARFAX report was showing 1345 miles. Not just the EB's...
Oh, and watch the 2016 Focus RS, with the same 2.3 engine as the Mustang, but pushing 350hp and 350 lb ft of torque with a 0-60 of 4.7 seconds. Half an engine my a$$
UPDATE: I just checked the dealers site and they have added another $1000. to the price! Now, over $50K. I checked the Book Price on used LE 50th models and they are listed as $42 to 44,000 now.

The RS is going to start at 36 or 38k. Thats a GT Premium right there.

If you love mustangs.. its going to be hard to jump from a ecoboost to a Focus RS at that price...

I went to Ford.Com and built one with all the bells and whistles, it totaled a little over $41,000 with full leather Recaros. Also, the only tranny is a 6 sp manual. Very tempting for North Country folks, but you will also need winter tires as it comes with summer performance tires. I would leave out the Sun Roof and save the $895. for the winter tires. My EB is 10 months old.....and, winter is coming...

41k USD is around 54k CAD. I would NEVER pay that for a focus..... A FOCUS. that's nuts.
I'd never pay 41k CAD for a focus lol. Though, if fords building one, there must be a market for it.

That said, I wouldn't get an RS. I'd be in the same predicament I'm always in with my car. I wouldn't be able to enjoy the performance. I did however, drive an ST last week and I loved it. It just needs a little more exhaust and turbo sound. The optional Recaros hugged me like my first girlfriend when I was 15. The steering was perfection. The shifter was light and easy to toss around.
I drove my car for the first time in a week yesterday. I absolutely love my exhaust sound, but I'm getting tired of my car again. I do not get to enjoy it. It is literally just no fun around here.

You need to not look at it as just a Focus though. This is the holy grail of compact hot hatches. Forbidden fruit. With performance numbers that equal a Mustang GT in a straight line, but in a vehicle that will utterly decimate it on a road course or track.

You'd definitely be unique then.
At least in the U.S.
You'd probably still worry about what all the owners of other Trabants in Romania and other 3rd-world countries are doing to their pieces of crap cars.
So yeah, maybe just sell the Stang and just get a bicycle.
But build the bike yourself from many different mixed-up pieces, otherwise somebody else out there might have a bike that might look similar to yours.
In case anybody's wondering what a Trabant is .... :

Years ago I saw a photo shoot of a pro-streeted Trabant with a Weber carb'd SB Chevy and steamroller rear tires. How the owner got it into this country is anybody's guess. If anyone really wants to make a case for global warming, then they should look no further than the pollution spewing Trabant. It's carbon footprint is almost as large as Al Gore's breath when he's ranting about climate change.

Lol, if I had a Trabant, maybe I'd put some AMRs on it
