Whats everyone using?,and does an upgraded line like an SR braided line or similiar get rid of that sometime high rpm lock out we experience? I have a 2012 gt .

 

I'm using JPC I believe is the company. The line is top notch but did not help at all. I also put in dot 4 fluid no change. Next step is clutch for me.

 

Upgrading to a braided clutch line will help with high RPM lock out, especially after a prolonged period of aggressive driving or consecutive quarter mile passes. However, the clutch line isn't the only thing that can cause a high RPM lock out. For instance - if your clutch is nearing the end of it's life from excessive wear, it'll easily cause a high RPM lock out, too.

The SR Performance line is a top notch piece! We've installed them in all of our '05+ manual AM Mustangs. Every one of these cars have performed flawlessly at the track and on the street. I gotta say, for the cost of the SR Performance braided clutch line, it's a must do upgrade for any manual 05+ Mustang!
