Is there any chance roush would send replacements, than have you send the old **** ones back? It would really be a pain for me to take them off, put the stocks on, than take the stocks off, than put the roushs back on. Its my DD so I cant just take them off until the replacements get here and those stockers are a B!TCHHHH to get off I can only imagine getting them back on

It's on the inlet side. I guess you could call it a puncture, as the steel is just punched through.

Im in the same position as 2012gtcs. I am going straight through roush (person I bought them from got them from stage 3) but I have yet to call them back after they returned my call. I will call them in the morning and let them know the whole situation. If I do get my replacements, I am definitely drilling a small "weep hole" in the back of each muffler so this doesnt happen again.

Anyone think of just spraying the muffler with a high heat ceramic coated paint? This would help a little I am guessing, especially from surface rust.

I couldnt justify spending $800 for mufflers. The borla stingers on my 2010 were $550 new, and when I took them off and sold them around 9k miles later, cleaned them up and they literally looked brand new. Guess you pay for what you get. Just wish the S types were $550 like they were for my 2010

I agree. If I was going to spend $800 for mufflers I might as well go with full exhaust for a few hundred more..

You can get the FRPP sports supposedly the Borla Stingers clone for 625.00 @ buyfordracing.com. No matter how you slice it,it's a lot of money for a set of mufflers. Hopefully I get my FRPP Sports on this thursday and I send my Roushs back to BOI for a replacement.

Anybody want a set of New Roush mufflers cheap?

Quick update on my case. I emailed Roush and a few hours later I got a reply back. The Roush rep asked me to take pics of my mufflers and send them back to her. She will then forward it too the warranty department. Been about four days now and I havent heard anything. I am going to email her back and ask her whats up.

I got under my car yesterday. My mufflers look perfect and new. I could not bring myself to drill holes in perfectly good mufflers. I will keep checking them.

How long have they been installed?

I would HIGHLY recommend getting some weep holes drilled in them. When i get mine replaced, I will be doing the same. This problem sucks, and if weep holes can avoid it, its worth it.

Yeah that's too early for this to happen.

Mine did it within 6 months though. I would highly recommend a drain hole to prevent this pain in the butt situation.
