I also have the Roush's and I'm scared to even look under my car. Fortunately my car is in storage till March so I'll have to wait to check.

For those looking at replacements- I've read good things about the Corsa Extremes, anyone heard these in person? I used to have a G8 and the Corsa was one of the best sounding setups on that car.

From sound clips i've heard/comments I've read the S-types are supposedly a better bang for the buck; that's why I went with the orig Borlas rather than FRPP.
Excellent info !

Thanks

They sound awsome but a lil pricey.

Update:

Spoke with Stage 3 this morning briefly and just waiting on a call back from Bill Lindsay who's going to handle the warranty for me. I'll post back when I speak with him.

Great news, I got mine from BOI so I guess I will put a call in this week. If they do give me a new set I am not putting them back on the car. I will sell on ebay or on the forum for cheap just to get some money back.

Good for you Hytek! I am willing to bet that the new set will be better. It happens all the time to where bad batches of products are defective.

That would make sense since these are holding water causing the problem. You remember where you saw it?

I hope it goes as easy as it appears to be. Be prepared to take yours off and send them in. That's what BOI wanted LEwis26 to do. If mine goes well then you guys have some ammo to use if the other places give you trouble.

Tonight at Walmart I bought some chrome Rustoleum spray. Gonna spray some on tomorrow morning and going to see if it stops the rust. Wish me luck.

No worries. Sounds like this might not only be a problem with the Roush's then too.

After reading the link shornberger posted, it might be a good idea to drill a drain hole in them too.

I heard back from Stage3 earlier today and they're just waiting for Roush to ok a replacement. What I find odd is they never asked to see pics.

I bet you might not be the first one to call them with this problem.
