How much boost???

I have the Vortech V3 on a 13 GT with what used to be a regular JLT CAI(I cut it short to fit the supercharger setup). I haven't hooked up a boost gauge yet, anyone running vortech and CAI what kind of boost are you making? Also considering the beefcake torque booster, anyone running this?

I am running the same setup. Vortech V3, JLT performance intake, MaxFlo BAP, Tial 50MM BOV, Brisk plugs 1 step cooler, Boss IM, BBK 90mm TB, OR X Pipe. 3.60 pulley
With this setup, we made 636 rwhp and 469 rwtq. It depends on your rpms, but it we could see 12-13lbs spinning the motor hard.
Since, installed the "troque booster" which pulleys down to a 3.33 pulley, Gates 100" green belt and a Tial wastegate and I have the 10lb spring
No official numbers, but we are at 650 rwhp and 500 rwtq now. You can DEFINATELY feel a big difference in when and how the power comes on. We get to 10 psi quick now with this pulley.

I'm shifting at 6900, I was hoping I wasn't pushing anymore than 9 psi. You have a stock bottom end?

tune from jon lund and I put down 596rwhp on Saturday and that's more than enough 483 torque as well.
boost is around 9....with the fast rmp climb its hard to keep an eye on the boost gage...lol. need a shift light now. I shift around 7000

LOL.......... not.

The data logs on this car look great. Timing, fuel, spark all are looking great and its timing is such that I am not worried at all. (Jon tuned this car as well) This car also has quite a few other mods that opens it up more on both sides of the motor that helps with our numbers be what they are. (Big in, Big out) Not worried about our drivetrain since we run the one piece Dynotech DS, upgraded MT82 and a Torsen rear end.

other mods that help out
here is what I mean by big in big out:
JLT performance intake > 90mm TB > Boss IM > 3" ORX pipe > 3" OAP > GT 500 quads
Could go with LT's but we are seeing numbers like we want with the ORX pipe so.

If you dont rev the hell out of your motor and you have a really good tune (which Lund is the best IMHO) you can safely run 650 rwhp on the '13's. I wouldn't run this on an '11 or '12 tho. If you want to spin your motor past 7200, with this setup, you need to invest in a billet oil pump gear. (that will be my next order of business motor wise) This car runs great, no knock and moderate timing. Our boost is now wastegated at 10psi, so the motor is not seeing high boost as well. Jon tuned it for 91octane but it runs 93 most of the time. Make sure you always get good quality fuel and carry some octane boost for times you will run it hard.

Sounds like a good combo for sure and that gear replacement is a definite.
I put 94 octane in mine currently with the 93 tune.
I'm pretty happy with it
