Hid kit for fogs

Does anyone know if i have to use an H10 or H11 HID kit for my fogs on a 2013 mustang GT? I no longer want the LED bulbs and am looking for more light. Im assuming without the fog housing being projector that it will create a lot of glare. Should I just upgrade to a brighter LED looks wise. I am looking to match the color of the factory headlights.

What she said ^^. People will recoil, shielding their eyes and you...you will receive at the very least some objectionable stares and pointing with the less polite of the digits.

If you are making the move to HID, then I'd install the fogs into the lower fascia within a properly aligned projector housing. You can tint the grill fogs to minimize thier appearance or switch to a different grill altogether and use the wiring for the new lights.

There is one option though. California Special fogs w/ HID conversion. They work WONDERFULLY.

Can you link me to the conversion kit and light kit you used for the HIDs?

The stock headlights are around 4300K. Why not just upgrade the headlights to 6000K to match the color of the LED fogs?

I used (and have always used) ddmtuning.com They have supplied my Cutlass Supreme winter beater, my GTO, my VW New Beetle, and now my Mustang.

Never got anything more than a 5k kit... Good vision good color. I have the 35watt kid in my fogs, and have always reserved the 55w kits for the headlights in the retrofit cases, but I might change to a 55w kit for the foglights in the future.
