I like the idea of a bit of tune w/o having to go to aftermarket intakes. I am very leery of aftermarket intakes that you have to wash and oil up. They were certainly not recommended on motorcycles I owned nor on my diesel pickup.
In my work we used Donaldson dry type filters on turbo diesels in underground mines. They work great in some of the most horrendous environments.

Here's some more feedback:
In my quest for 11s on the Procal + tires and traction, full weight, I did 12.0 at 114 last night at the track.
My car is a full weight 3.73 BBP GT with every option in the book and no weight reductions at track day. Even a 1/2 tank in: 3745 pounds, race weight.
I have A Roush upper, UMI lowers and Hoosier C07 slicks on 00 Mustang wheels in the back. Also GT500s but they ain't worth squat, obviously.
My calculator says that's making about 435 ghp so, that was a strong run.

MPH is hugely dependent on conditions and curb weight so, valid comparisons are hard to make. I've done a lot of 114 mph runs on different days. Now, can an untuned 5.0 hit that? Yeah, at Cecil, for example, all the time.
What is interesting is, despite the fact that this is a Canatuna 91 octane street tune, I don't see a ton of box 93 octane "race" tunes going much quicker. Custom seems hit and miss as well.
I will get a full-weight 11 out of this Casper Milquetoast tune if it keeels me....

2) I left my sticker off since 95% of the dealerships in the KC area will Void the Warranty with any Mod's even though the ProCal Ford Racing Warranty replaces the Ford Factory Warranty now that its been installed by a Ford dealership about an hour away from my house (since none of my local dealerships would do the ProCal and Warranty Registration).

FRPP Pro-Cal Sticker
Here is a photo of the Pro-Cal sticker that you should have gotten with your tuner.
I put in under the hood, but in hindsight should have put it in the door jamb. That's my writing in a Sharpie for the date I installed the tune.
Hope this helps!

Keep in mind your car will have Zero Warranty on the "Powertrain" unless the tune was installed by an "Authorized Ford Dealer" and if they "Registered" the ProCal with the people over at Ford Racing (since Ford Racing's Warranty replaces the Factory Ford Warranty).

The Warranty Manual does not cover or make note of whether or not progressive damage is covered. Such as, your ProCal causes an engine failure, will this be covered under warranty?

1) I kept mine since I plan to change the Gear Ratio in my Automatic Car and the ProCal has the ability to correct the Ratio for you, plus with all the talk about "Ping" with ProCal I kept it to use as a Code Scanner to make sure my car is doing well on Kansas City's Ethanol-Free 91 oct.

I've worked as a warranty administrator/auditor for a major engine company before, so that's why I asked. I'll call them and find out for sure. Thanks!
