anyone still modding 2010's??

like the topic says.. how many people out there still have there 2010? I know most have traded it in for the 5.0. I just recently purchased mine and i see some mods are for 2005-2010, yet soe things are for 2010+..

also what numbers are you guys putting out? my goal is 400 without boost and spray.. anyone with suggestions and pointers?? thanks all

well, on this forum we are indeed in the minority. in the other popular Mustang forum though, there are tons of '10 GT owners, I've noticed.

yes we are still here and still modding. I'm saving my pennies right now but i have plans for a few mods. Think of it this way...we have the good looks of the 2011+ but basically the same engine of the 2005+...great motor with minimal to no problems compared to the 5.0 and we can add all of the exterior goodies of the newer cars.

Look thru some of the 05-09 engine mods to see what those guys did to get as close as you can to 400 n/a

Heck some of us still have our 05's. No reason for me to get a 5.0

I have no motor problems and have managed to squeeze 412HP n/a out of mine. Let me know when you are in the neighborhood.........

I didn't come in here to hate -- one of my best friends has a 2010 and its a great car -- but when someone starts spouting off about engine problems well...

I think very few have traded a 2010 GT for a 2011+ GT. I don't plan on ever getting rid of mine. it's actually going up in value since it has the looks of a 2011 and drivetrain durability of a 2009.

I never was a fan of the 4.6 but guys are picking up a few remaining new 2010's for 10-11k off of sticker price. I would supercharge and tune it right away with a reputable company like Steeda and smoke any 5.0, Vette or SS that wants some. The engines handle boost and NOS really well. One of my good friends ran NOS 150 shot on his 2000 GT until he cold it in 2008 with over 100k on it. It still ran as strong as it did from day one. For the 4.6 to compete, it needs a power adder but it handles them easily.

I've been happy with mine for a while yet! (2 years in Sept! ). 35k miles.

My current mods are in my sig... But I've been thinking about adding some cams lately, not sure yet. However I did just buy some new summer tires, (hankook evo v12). And am going to get those on within the next few days.

The 4.6 was/is a great engine, proven and capable.

2010 here. Truth is.....I dream of a 5.0, or maybe a Boss. I'd love to get this one paid off and sell her before I rack up the mileage. I love her, but want the new motor.
