It's working OK. For now I have it showing me IAT's and Bank1 A/F ratio, and the only wiring I've done was to plug it into the OBD port.

I have a Speed Of Sound dual-gauge a-pillar waiting to be installed, along with a Boost gauge and an oil pressure gauge.

I'll continue using the Aeroforce for A/F ratio and whatever else, IAT, coolant temp, or something else

I was disappointed to see the AeroForce isn't capable of displaying misfire information for Fords. Are you able to set it to display speed (I really wish you could display the speed in the center screen on the dash)? Are you using the shift light?

I haven't set the shift light yet, but plan to.

I think it has a Speedo function, haven't set it for that yet

OK, today was finally the day I installed my newly painted RTR decklid panel.
Picked it up from the body shop at Noon, had it installed about a little while later, after having lunch with the GF and picking up her GT500 out of storage
I had already removed the OEM panel yesterday so today I just had to cut out the hump and install the RTR piece.
I never got around to buying a $45 5" hole saw, but while we were at Home Depot earlier, the thought of metal snips came to mind, so I bought a $15 set and got to work.
It cut through the thin decklid metal very easily.
I then used some touch-up paint on the rough opening, and then secured the RTR panel with the double-sided tape provided on the back of the unit.

I have some flat-black custom decals that I'll be putting on in about a week or so, but for now she's gonna stay naked.

Yesterday I also added the MMD pre-painted tail light trim and the black tint for the centers of the tail lights.

So, the rear-end makeover is almost complete.

Now, on to the pics:

Looking great!

After seeing some of the things you've done with plast-dip, I've started using the stuff on some of my vehicles (did a great job at removing some of the chrome from my wife's F150 grill- she loves the look).

I don't mind the faux gas cap so much, but I never liked the chrome ring- so I decided to mask it off and delete just the chrome ring.

Another application I've been debating is using a circular mask and plasti-dip to create the look on the fog lights on the Need for Speed car. Do you suppose the plasti-dip would a.) stick to the plastic on the fog lights, and b.) withstand any heat the lights throw off?

The Plasti-Dip is supposedly good to about 300 degrees, and at $6/can, certainly cheaper to try than the $114 new fogs.

On a side note, there's finally a set plan to get the Whipple installed

That is definitely an impressive collection of hoods. Of everything out there, I think the Cervini Stalker is my favorite. I would like to see it installed on a Sterling Grey car- but most of the pics on the net are their catalog images (which I suppose means they aren't too common- which is kinda the point ).

I wonder if the Redline hood struts I have installed could be fit to the Cervini hood?

Considering I already have a couple cans in the garage, I was thinking along the same lines... The temp info is really helpful, thanks! The other way to go would be to get some good quality, really dark window tint, cut out some circles, and mount them in the center of the lights. I just really like the black center look (always liked that look on the old BMWs as well).

How is that AeroForce gauge working out for you?

Next week.

It's getting installed by an acquaintance, somebody that's done a ton of them, been working on Mustangs for 30+ years, has a Terminator himself, plus an S197 that's boosted too ... the guy knows what he's doing, gave me a GREAT price, and will also install the new boost and oil-psi gauges I have, then load the tune my tuner will e-mail him (they've been great friends for a long time).

So by the end of next week it should be all done.

Yeah, I know, but maybe next time, lol.

I'm staying with the GF, she doesn't have a garage, my condo doesn't have a garage. Once that's sold, the next place will be a single-family with a large garage, that's a given. Both her and I want that. And a lift would be awesome. So it would be nice if the garage was tall too

Progress continues ... Heat exchanger installed, all the wiring got done, the coolant pump is installed, and a few other small items.

Working slowly but since I'm a "better safe than sorry" guy anyway, I'm totally ok with that.

Window tint will melt to your light housings. Don't do it. Even the Lamin-X thicker tint, meant for lights, will melt to the light housings over time.
