Just ordered 2012 GT
I there everyone, I just ordered a Kona blue GT with accessory package #1 and comfort package with 401a option with 19" wheels. Can't wait . Already have vin number. Is supposed to be built first week of January.
NOT CURRENTLY ACTIVE ON THIS SITE! DO NOT USE PM FEATURE!

I hear ya. I'm in the south burbs, Romeoville. I planned on driving mine through the winter but bought a winter beater. I can handle the snow, it's the salt that I'm worried about. Make sure you get a good wax on when you get it.

Kirk, congrats man. I just got my Kona GT on saturday. I had the dealer install a set of Blizzaks on the factory wheels and plan on driving it all winter. I live about 200 miles north of you in Wisconsin. Here is a trip for salt. Wash it with cold water, apparently warm or hot water increases the corrosiveness of salt! I should have paid more attention in chemistry, lol. You are gonna love your car.
Tonight I put on GT 500 axlebacks and wow, just a nice growl, much better than the quiet stockers. I can't wait till spring to take the blizzaks off with the stock wheels, the plan is to put on silver RTR's and give it a slight drop. Sorry to ramble but man you are gonna love this thing. And who knows, I get to Chicago a few times a year, maybe we can do a photo shoot sometime.
Hytek, the pics of your car inspired my wheel choice. Those silver RTR's are so sweet.
