hey jed, are these the california special wheels on your car? I'm asking because I also have a kona blue 2012 GT. I have the brembo package and my dealer here told me that these wheels are some of the few that will clear the brembo brakes. I need additional wheels (and tires) for the winter and I begin to check the options I have now.

yeah you are correct, but they are the premium wheels off of the v6 version, which are black and the ones for the v8 are actually gunmetal gray and have the words GT imprinted into one of the spokes.

I borrowed these off my friend to showcase during a autoshow.

yeah these are 19s so they should clear the brembos if i am wrong please someone correct me.

 

If you buy aftermarket I'm pretty sure the offset is 42 to clear the Brembos

 

I've always noticed that Kona Blue looks kickass when clean and in a spotlit parking lot at night, and it's certainly a similar effect indoors with your pics.

yeah its crazy how it changes up on sunlight, street light and indoor light.

the best is in the sun when the pearl can be seen, totally a great site to see.
