Wow! Those gold stripes are stunning!! The mod bug is strong with this car! I have already done the following:

- Bob's ultimate oil separator
- Mirror mount and mirrortap for my escort 9500ix
- side scoops and Eleanor style wi Dow louvers
- 15% llumar tint
- redline plus hood lifts

Working on next week:
- Revan Racing suspension (BMR components and FRPP lowering springs)

Can't wait to upgrade the suspension, the rear end breaks loose easily!

Thanks! I look forward to following your suspension mods - you'll probably want to switch to Michelin Pilot Super Sports at some point. I still have the Goodyears but I live in a warm state like you. Mind you it gets cold in the winter in No. Alabama. Those tires are scary below 50F.

 

Where did you find the template for putting the letters back on correctly placed? Mine was custom painted and the SHELBY letters are on but look like a smile with the alignment....

 

I see a lot of cars with letters that are not aligned right (slants, smiles, frowns!). Ford can be a bit sloppy. We simply measured the spacing on a sheet of paper then re-affixed them by eyesight. No need to buy a template!

You're body guy should have spotted that when he reattached them. It's easily fixed.

 

I have an appointment to get them redone. I am pulling the stock ones, having them painted black along with the Cobra emblems and then re-applied when it goes in to get (2) paint niks taken care of.

 

Oh I remember this car! I saw the video of the original owner (who confessed to not being able to drive stick when she won it!). It's a looker for sure with those Cobras. Bet you get a lot of looks! I see what you mean about the lettering. It's a bit off.
