Looks like both available 2012.
they can slap 2012 on it but it's a 2013. I can't wait for the 2016 model which will be available in 2018 if they're still making them of course.
the issue here: chevrolet has thrown its corvette owners under the bus with a 55k camaro that outperforms their car. they are counting on performance to sell it. IF the GT500 kills it they are in trouble.
they are kinda wanting everyone to migrate to the hot sellnig camaro. IMO. all their eggs are in this basket. time will tell. i personally will believe the GT500 will hold traction on street tires when i see it.
IF the launch control works, its lights out for a lots of chevrolet cars, not just the camaro.

^^^ totally agree that it would be embarrasing for GM to call it a 2013 as it has taken forever to get it into production.
I'm not sure but I would guess that development for the Boss 302 was begun around the same time if not later than the ZL1 development and the Boss has been available for awhile now.

Pffftt... I'd say even a regular vetter could shrug off a ZL-1 in everything but a drag race. The ZL-1 checks in at 4100 lbs and standard vette is maybe 3400 lbs? Click off the Grandsport option and it gets better, click off even a base Z06 and its game over (would say Z06 Carbon but that rascal is just a ZR-1 without the LS9)

Does anyone know of a company that makes kill decals of the ZL1 for placing on the side windows ? I am thinking I may need to order quite a large number for my windows for all the times I put down a ZL1.

Vinyl plotters ?? Where do you get one ? The thing is when you start making things and display them on your car , others will want those things. Then a business gets started. Then there is not as much time to spend behind the wheel.
I found one on Amazon of all places, I'd certianly make enough to pay for the machine if others wanted them. Once the data is input then its just a button click away to making them.
The COPO Concept Camaro Drag Car does not have the IRS rear. If the Chevy folks think IRS is so good why did they remove it from their drag car ? I hope they do not plan on selling that car for NHRA stock eliminator class racing. If they want to run stock eliminator, they should only be allowed to run the IRS. I would like to see stock eliminator more closely represent the production models.
