Not if they're really doing a complete make-over for 2014, right? This makes sense to me.
& I was expecting to see that go around the track, too.

It's probably just an oil cooler.

Now i see, that Ford woke up.
Most of the sports-Car manufactures tests their cars on the ring. It´s the best place to make strong tests to engine and suspension parts.
My last car was evaluated 10.000 km (without probs) on the ring, before it was in mass-production. The result was, that i never had problems with that car after ~ 95.000 km road-driving and > 300 rounds on the ring.
It was an Opel Astra OPC (which is similar to the Saturn Astra.... but with more hp
)

It´s said that 1 Km ring equals 12 km normal road.....

We've seen a small change already for the 2013 (spy shot) and since the 2015 is the new Mustang, that leaves 2 years for a small cosmetic change to keep sales up.

Anyone notice the front canards on the red one? Starting to add some serious aero...

I would suspect that we are more than likely seeing Ford doing platform testing in a current mule. We see other manufacturers do this all the time, as they have to prove/test new engines, suspensions, and brakes somewhere.
What might surprise everyone is that they could be testing a 3.7L High Output Twin Turbo engine.
I don't think the market will forgive them for another round of solid axle only Mustangs with large displacement SuperCharged applications. Ford has already committed to installing EcoBoost options in 80% of their cars by 2013, and higher by 2014.
One thing's for sure, changes are coming!
