I have something loaded i would like to shoot you with.It would be a rear shot of course.

 

I know I need to hang in there. It's just that it's been down since September and I hate making car payments on a car that is not sitting in my garage. The long block is supposed to be assembled so when he gets back they can get it in the car and then tune it.

 

I feel your pain.It took a year and 3 body shops to get the gto painted and 4 months to get the interior done.People quit,got sick,had soccer games,went on vacation,ect.It has been that way on every car i have restored.Hard to stay a nice guy,but it will be worth it in the long run.If not i have a tall chair and a short rope ready to go.

 

I just do things like that myself. That way there is no one to blame but me.

 

That's why I pay myself to do those things. I have no one to blame but me, plus I make money in the process. Win, Win...

I like to rebuild one cylinder at a time. Every 1000 I tear down the motor and rebuild just one cylinder. I obviously start with cylinder 1 and work my way around. After 9000 my motor has been completly rebuilt. Then I start over...

Yes it is and Yes its fixed. Dont run a steel drive shaft in these cars. Trans was easy to overhaul.

I had Doug send me an update. with all the ice, really hadn't had a chance to test her out. I'm tomorrow, so we'll see. When do you get your dyno???

Cool! What made you go with them? We had a big discussion on all the different dynos... I'm probably opening up a can of worms...

 

Just seen them all in action. I know that this dyno will hold to 1200 hp at any load and that the data is real time data. The others dont.

 

Excellent. What was the tranny problemo? I blew up second in mine once already.
