Jeff's Engine Build
The goal is now by January 15th. We shall see. He's good but slow when it comes to projects like mine. Tuning is no problem though and Kurtis knows his stuff when tuning.
.....Not exactly how you envisioned it when you started this lastest project but they never are.. 
Big builds and full on modded cars never have the time frame you want them to be. I wish it was different but no one in the industry can argue that this doesn't happen to some degree to everyone who does a project.
Well at least you will be able to get it back well before the track opens so you can work out any issues that might be present.
And that's the goal. Kurtis doesn't have cars come back with engine problems so I take great comfort in that aspect. It's the breaking in for 500 miles that will drive me nuts.
Well I used to drive from Owasso to downtown everyday and you will rack up those 500 miles in no time.
That's true. It's the keeping from burning the tires and revving really high that will drive me nuts. Once the 500 miles are up then the boost goes up too which will be nice.
Yep. I can see where that would drive a person nuts. However on the bright side it would drive me more nuts to drive a yellow splash everyday. LOL
So are you going to be able to do the Eureka cruise?

Sorry to hear your car is taking longer than expected Jeff....Im sure the wait will be worth it and maybe this is what one must go through to get a bullet proof motor that will last and last and last the abuse...ya know?
I know you you feel on that 500mi break in.... But like David said we Daily drivers.. (paul you wouldnt know) can wrack up those wonderfully enjoyable miles quick
