I heard that Kurtis is trying for 1000HP (no joke) on the GT500....should be a crazy build

 

MM&FF should do a cover with the club. I think we could strong arm Evan Smith.

Nothing is definite on the magazines yet. They have just expressed interest in mine. Kurtis will definitely have a write up. Yes, he is trying to get 1000 rwph out of the GT500 with a KB 2.8H

THE BEAST LIVES!!! We started it on Friday night and it sounds great. Problem is is that it won't go into 2nd. We think the shift fork is having an issue. We put it on the dyno yesterday and Kurtis is having to play with the custom tune because he has never done a car like mine (meaning 2005+ mustang) before that has changed so much stuff like MAF, injectors, etc. The dual Boost-a-pump is a headache because unlike the single BAP where you can control how much it gives like 10%, 20%, etc the dual has no dial and kicks in with a full 50% and we are only needing about 10%. We are considering taking the GT500 pumps out and putting the Ford GT pumps in instead since they are good to 800 rwhp without a boost-a-pump. Despite all this it still pulled 311 hp and 403 torque at 2400 rmps. It produced 16.4 lbs of boost. More to follow as he gets it rolling.

 

Well it's a start. How many more months do you figure it will take? Perhaps by Shelby?

 

Actually it should be Wednesday of this week. We are just going to switch the pumps out and ditch the dual BAP. Everything else works great. It started right up without any hiccups.

The numbers seem a little low... I have a friend with the same set up and he's pushing 312 HP in 1st. JK! Playing Jarrod here.
