I am going to bet $1 that he makes it down the track on his first run, but sells the car afterwards due to it being too "scarry" O and the dirty underwear that he will have to walk around in afterwards wont help..eww

I'll give him $20 for it. I'd go $25 but I'll have to clean it up.

Well Jeff, I for one hope all the time and cash you are investing turn that beast into a meaner beast!!! No matter what happened with the engine, its no fun to have to go thru the hassle and expense of a rebuild. Hope it all comes together and runs like a champ!!!

Ok,new update. The block is bored, honed, blue printed. The machine shop is waiting for it to come back from the balancers on Monday. When it comes back then Kurtis can put it all together and hopefully have it before the 17th.

What hydraulic modulator did you go with on the build? There's a company that make a new version of them (12.5mm version I think). They're suppose to be tops from what I read. I need to google for them... can't remember there name off hand.

Why would I replace the hydraulic modulator? That is an actual thing that controls the anti-lock brake system. It's the black box with all the lines going into it on the right hand side of the engine bay. Nice try...:-)

I hope the wrist pins were replaced with ones rom Clevite or Speed-pro. Floating wrist pins would be the best. Also the tolerance beween the first Ring land and the second ring land should come in at .05" . If not the blow by will be excessive and the entire endeavor will be for naught. Make sure that the main caps are changed out to 5 bolt as well for added strength. These simple steps will ensure power and logevity.

Ok...so the block is done and the re-assembly has begun. We still have a few parts to get in. All have been ordered but the cams, hi-flo cats, and Throttle body are on their way. Kurtis's new shop looks nice. Chris from Tulsa Dyno is now a part of Archangel Motorsports. Kurtis has 2 dynos now; one in ground; one like Doug at Bamachips....also Kurtis IS a CERTIFIED Dealer for SCT...I saw the certificate and it happened in 2005.
