Good God 15psi....what street tires are your running and are they big enough? Daily driving will be intresting when getting on it hehe
The goal is 600 at the wheels so yes driving every day especially in the rain is going to be interesting.
Scary but fun....stupid but fun...crazy but fun. I want to be able to handle a ZR1 or a Z06 or a GT500 if I have to.
Well if the thing holds together and it runs as advertised...GT500s wont even be a problem.....and Im not sure what the ZR1 is capable of yet..but im sure your right with it...even though heavier.
I liken 15 psi to strapping a rocket onto a pig...at least that is how I see my car right now. It should hold fine with all the forged parts we've used. Kurtis hasn't had one blow up yet and we only plan to run about 15-16 degrees of timing to be safe. As I know more I'll let all of you know..
It will run like a bad boy but, I think the ZR1 will still be out of reach.
I can always dream. I agree because the ZR1 is so light...
It's hard to compete with a car that has balsa wood in certain areas and titamium this and titanium that...
Yep. Better engineered.
the ZR1 is suppossed to come with a supercharged LS9 6.2L small block, and there saying at least 620HP and 595lb.-ft of torque... that is rediculus!!! i read that it made a 0-60 in 3.7 seconds.
Ahhhhh The great plastic fantastic debate.
The first production ZR-1 rolled across the auction block on BJ and it sold for $1,000,000. It's an awesome car for sure, I still cannot believe someone paid $1,000,000 for it though.
That's just insane. Think of the fantastic cars (plural) that coul be had for a million bucks.
Thats just crazy talk
The sick part is that he can turn around in a couple of years and sell that bad boy for about twice as much. Collectibility is in the eye of the beholder I guess.
It was part of a charity auction. They paid $1 mill, but everything over the estimated street price (about $100k) went to charity. They did a ZR-1 and a Shelby. The Shelby went for around $900K.
Yeah, the Shelby was the first KR released to the public...pretty cool and it went to charity which is also very cool.
Supercharger got put back on today.:-)
great news! whats the ETA on being finished?
