Ok so I ordered my rims+tires from Americanmuscle on Dec. 19th. I know it's the Holidays and what not but should i be worried about them? Today would mark the 8th day since i ordered...

 

Do you have a tracking number yet? You should have the tracking # if they were picked up by UPS or FedEx. If not I would give them a call tomorrow and see if you cant get one or at least get the status of your order. Have your Order Number ready so they can look it up.

 

I did not get a tracking # from AmericanMucle tomorrow i will give them a call and see if they can give me one.

Rode in Rfords mustang last night after he got his Intake+tune done and wow. I forgot how much that really wakes up the car. LOL I def. have to switch my punny K&N to something diff. he went wtih STeeda+x cal 3 from car fX

Say it aint so!! Honestly He most likely got overcharged BIG TIME... just a tip...ask us before you purchase...That Xcal3 has generic tunes not even specific to his mustang...IE...they suck

 

haha. He bought the Steeda from Greg (ON here) then bought the tuner from car FX and they installed and tuned it as well for....$500 i believe.

Does the $500 include the purchase of the CAI? Installed and tuned it what does that mean (turned a couple of bolts and plugged the tuner in??? RAAPPPEEED! I could have installed the dang thing in 5 min! and the tunes in that XCAL3 tuner are seriously SH*T.

well looks like the only thing that will be delieved before the weekend is are the 2 soleniods for the line lock kit. The install kit and shifter won't be in till mid next week. Damm. I was wanting to do the install this weekend.

 

lol no the $500 does not include the CAI. That was separate from Grey which i think he got it for $150. It was $500 To buy the x cal 3, install it, along w/ the install of the Steeda and tune it.

Dang Ryan you GOT TOOK! the XCAL3 is like $379 sooooo basically they charged you $121 for maybe...just maybe 10 min worth of work and some crap tunes that they say are from STEEDA?? haha whatever! those tunes are generic tunes that lean the fuel a bit and adjust for the CAI...they are nothing compared to Brenspeed and Bama...beleive me I was taken by RPM outlet too. I was much like Ryan and didnt know much about tuners and tunes....I baught an XCAL2 that came with "canned" tunes....lets just say when I switched to Bamachips..thats when the car woke up.

Ok in the future Ryan.... ask us before you make anymore purchases or installs...we will save you a ton of money and will install it for you FOR FREE. We as a club buy NOTHING from Car FX...they OVERCHARGE bigtime for work that isnt that good to begin with (my opinion). I would not let Car FX touch my car.....
