I dont believe anything Car FX says...its all BS! I believe Doug at Bamachips and Brent at Brenspeed...NO ONE else when it comes to CAI and tuners. Car FX is in the money business...while trustworthy businesses are in the people business.

I dont like it when I am screwed with on price....for example Hurst shifter through Car FX...i was quoted like $275-$285?? hmmm purchased from a trustworthy vendor for $199 and got free shipping....its rediculous...they dont have pricebooks...they quote your or give you a price on what they are feeling that day....hmm I feel like overcharging today and BAMMMM or lets cut a guy a deal...and its still higher than everyone else!!

 

They have the decimal in the wrong place....

 

Oh and the RWHP #s that Will at Car FX is coming up with are numbers he read on the BOX!! they have no Dyno..they do NO tuning...what they know is what they read not test themselves.

 

Those are a few good points. I know on some packages they do at Bob Hurley ford w/ like a hurst shifter, SLP loudmouths and what not. Car fX's price tag is on the window and it said 399 for the HURST i was like WOOAAHHHHH

 

Anyway just ordered some G2 Redfire Caliper paint from hubcapsplus.com Heard it was supposed to be real good as far as not flaking and stuff.

I dont know. Im waiting to get my car tuned because I think I am doing another cam swap. I am also trying to swap out my shorties for longtubes or doing an intake manifold this semester. With both I should be atleast 350rwhp or more. Without my setup now I should be 315rwhp, actually I should be more than that with the other cams but well see. There is a link to what they sound like on the last page of the Christmas section. At the same time you can hear mine on the link at the bottom of my sig, I just fixed it.

 

As it sits probably yes. I need to get control arms and put it on a diet.. Shhhh I have a pig too, its a vert. Haha they weigh close to 3500lbs. Ill try and drop it down by this summer though.
