So I found out the cost to rent the race track. It's $800 for 4 hours. That gets us one lane. To use the second lane during that 4 hours is an additional $200. This cost covers up to 10 cars. When we get the club running stronger this would be a really fun event to do; rent out the track for an afternoon.

Jeff like your new avatar. Is that your vision for your car?? I like the color combo on the stripes with the chrome bullits.

Yes, that's my vision. It has the front and rear spoilers like mine. I want the stripes eventually and the wheels eventually.

Talked to Car Fx, they are going to repaint my front spoiler next week for $150. I am having it done next week so it is done way before the Shelby meet. Now, just to figure out how to reinstall it. I guess I just need to put on new 3M tape

I guess if your getting your foot back in the door with Will, it might be a good time to talk about sponsorship. What do you think? If you want the stripes Jeff order some from Baltimore street mods and we'll put them on they are cheep.

I started a new thread on our club site about the Shelby show. Specifically to get as many TMS members to our booth on the day of the show at noon to get a group picture.

SO far it looks like we should have about 20 or so TMS'ers in the shot based on the numbers from my other post on the 2005-2009 mustang thread. SHouls be a great opportunity to meet some fellow mustang freaks from all over the place.

My only concern about vinyl stripes is wear and tear and the paint not fading evenly. Although, I guess the GT500s have vinyl stripes don't they? What do you all think?

Stripes.... Don't last for ever. Especially on daily drivers. The will fade your paint etc... etc.. But they are a lot cheaper than paint and you can remove them if so desired.

Paint. Looks more professional but it comes with a price...

Yep the 500's use Vinyl. I think if you wax frequently you dont have to worry about uneven fade on the paint. I might be concerned if your car was black but I think with the Tungsten it shouldn't be a problem. Also with the vinyl it gives you the oportunity to change it later if you don't like it. As fasr as wear and tear the nice thing about the vinyl is you can change just the damaged piece if somthing happens. It is much cheaper than paint and we can do it. So you won't have to pay for the install. I think it's win win.

I think it will be a nice addition to compliment your ride. Which did you order? Satin silver from BSM? For the money It makes a very dramatic difference in the way the car looks!
