So is it cool to wait to sign up at the Shelby Car Show or do you guys prefer it another way?

It depends on what you term mods..meaning mechanical verses asthetics...Bob wins both for now. He spent a fortune in SC, full suspension, bling mods, chrome pieces, new wheels and tires, etc...I guess I would come in second so far or at least run a close second the Jarrod (grabber orange Roush guy)

How about a list of mods from each member. I'll start.

Performance:

C&L "Racer" Cold air induction, Steeda Underdrive pullies, SCT tuner, Brenspeed Custom tunes, Pypes off road H-pipe, Flowmaster Axle back mufflers, Steeda Tri-Ax shifter, Steeda Chrome moly lower control arms, FRPP 410 gears, BFG Drag Radials.

On order to be installed on tech day: Steeda Ultra lite lowering springs.

Appearance:

BSM Hood stripe and rocker panel stripes (GT350 text), Shelby GT PBF emblems, FRPP Strut tower brace (thanks Jeff), Painted Cam covers, Custom DIY painted factory rear wing, LRS Decklid blackout, Razzi side window scoops, Custom cobra jet DIY faux gas cap, 3D Carbon center fog grill with custom DIY tri-bar and running pony, CDC Hood Struts, White welting in door panels and last but not to be overlooked, cleanest daily driver motor/engine bay ever!

I think thats all but I may have overlooked some small stuff?

Jeff, you are right about a fortune.......just keep finding things that I can't live without.....probably will end when they move me to the front porch with a drool cup around my neck....

Sorry to hear about the car problems David....guess this means no caravan to Yukon.

Saw the new club t-shirts...they are after all this time definitely worth all the hassles and BS...what a knock out looking shirt, just wondering if they could have made the club logo a little smaller and the BHF logo a little larger ?

Chris, that is one good looking Roush...the color combination is the best I have ever seen. Might want to check out "FNSWEET" which is a Roush forum. Roush is coming out with a few new goodies such as a new cold air intake for the Roushcharger and even another pulley upgrade...and the big news is Roush is deciding if they might start selling the Shelby GT 500 SC for our engines with up to 500hp ! Roush also has said for existing Roushchargers that just a blower change may be all that is needed. It all sounds interesting but I can't imagine my needing more power...but never thought I would do what I have done now.

Got to run.

No actually I haven't got to run them yet at all. LOL They got mounted and balanced like three weeks ago and every time I have gone to use them it rains.

Thanks for the compliment!~!! I'm very happy with the color combo. I've been to FNSweet and have to say I enjoy this crowd so much better and thats all I will say about that. Alot of ego's over at FNsweet , IMHO.... Just not my cup of tea, but they do have some good info to read.

I've modded cars all my life and I decided when I bought this one it was going to stay as it came from the factory..... The past few cars I've bought and restored all ended up going back to OEM so thats sort of the 'funk' I'm in now. Here's an interesting article I read today about upcoming 'rumors'.

Reason I asked was I had them on my GTX 24/7. They make a huge difference, not quite like slicks but they have a nice grip. People also used to talk about them picking up small pebbles/rocks while driving on the street. I never had that issue so not to worry(I hope).

What kind of tread wear did you experience? I have been curious about this.

Well I guess it depends on their use(or abuse). Mine wore just fine and all the forums I've read and all the talk they would be good for 7500+miles mainly street use. Smokey burnouts will decrease that! I had mine on the GTX about 1 1/2 years and they still hooked good and had plenty of tread when I sold it. Also I've read and heard many times that the MT ET Street Radials wear alot faster and work better then the BFG. They are just a softer tire. Those BFG should last you awhile...

Hey Paul did you happen to send out the map info to your house yet for tech day? If not can you include the new list of mods taking place and that we need volunteers for stuffing bags for shelby?

Any preliminary guesses as to what she may do in the quarter? I figure you should be good for low 12's with traction and perhaps like 125 mph. What do you think?

Not sure when its "Hammer Time". I have a grand total of 173 miles on it..... It could be next year if it doesn't quit raining!

I would guess with good conditions, slicks, and a good driver the 427R should run in the 12.40's+- @ 108-112 but I doudt its any faster then that(stock). Figure a 3450 lb car with 356+- RWHP and that will give to an idea. Thats plenty for me!!! What about your car with Drag Radials? Any guesses? Whats your MPH in the 1/4?
