Hey Paul or David.... where can I get some mole skin again?? I need to get my windows tinted before the Shelby show. Also thinking of maybe getting the Roush front spoiler before the show as well to cover up my booboo. What I really need performancewise is the JLT or C&L CAI and new tune with a set of Drag radials, but that is something I am going to have to toss around in my head. Dropped by Joe Cooper this evening as well and looked over the 5 Roush mustangs they had out front. One Grabber and one black 427R.

I have found the cure for when you get bored with your car. Just return everything back to stock. I finally finished returning everthing back to stock(except for the gears and UDP's) and wooooah nellie.....! It's like driving a 3 cylinder GEO metro. I can't believe how much a difference the performance parts really make! You don't realize how much extra power there is until you take it back off.

Also do any of you know if there is an option to change the gear ratio on the stock tune? I can't find any areas for "optional paramaters" like when you install the performance tunes with the SCT. ???

As to the stock tune, there is NO way to change the gear ratio unfortunately. If you have the factory tuning device then you could change it but the SCT does not allow any changes to the stock tune

 

No updates to report on the car. Dropped of this morning at around 10:00. Hurleys brother was in the service area when I arrived so I talked to him a bit with John. So hopefully that might have had some affect on the work?? Who knows. There should be no reason that it isn't taken care of without hassle. I just wonder if it will be ready by Fri.

 

Any news to report on the sponsorship front?
