Beware QuickTrip gasoline if you live in Tulsa.
Just wait until you start seeing older cars stranded on the roadsides.
I got a voucher one time to run E85 in my F 150 with a 5.4L, it costs me $360 to get the CEL and miss in the firing order to go away.

Interesting... "Pure ethanol has an octane rating of 113. Adding 10% ethanol to unleaded gasoline will raise the fuel's octane rating by 2 or 3 points."
hey thanks chris! now im edumacated!
Because it smells cool ....
Its a higher octane... but burns differently.
ok... that was very helpfull, thanks chris!!! theres everyones answers to their questions right there!
no huffing butane andrew!!
Jarrod smells his own farts....
Higher octane just means slower burn. Should actually be a good thing for you blown guys.
I think the 10% ethanol is a transitional thing. I know in Massachusetts and Rhode Island ALL gas stations have 10% ethanol i'm not sure if it makes a difference in effiency but both of my stangs have been ok so far. I think the ethanol blend is going to be in all gas stations by 09'
