Just wait until you start seeing older cars stranded on the roadsides.

I got a voucher one time to run E85 in my F 150 with a 5.4L, it costs me $360 to get the CEL and miss in the firing order to go away.

Interesting... "Pure ethanol has an octane rating of 113. Adding 10% ethanol to unleaded gasoline will raise the fuel's octane rating by 2 or 3 points."

I've read both good and bad reports, depending on who writes them. Its like a new medicine. It may work well for most but there are probably underlying issues to look at.

but they reduce the octane of the gas befoe they add ethanol so the final gas octane is the standard 87 ,89 and 91.

I think the 10% ethanol is a transitional thing. I know in Massachusetts and Rhode Island ALL gas stations have 10% ethanol i'm not sure if it makes a difference in effiency but both of my stangs have been ok so far. I think the ethanol blend is going to be in all gas stations by 09'
