Beware QuickTrip gasoline if you live in Tulsa.
I am rewriting this to bring some clarity to the issue.
QuickTrip is putting 10% ethanol in there gas now. There is no law that states they have to tell you. It should not bother the newer mustangs I am guessing 99 and up because the newer ones monitor the air fuel ratio under wide open throttle. The older ones do not so it could possibly make your air fuel ratio lean. This is not likely on a factory tune because most are far too rich to Begin with. If you did have this problem corrected to the proper air fuel ratio it could throw you lean on your older vehicle if uses a carburetor.

Chris...where do you buy your gas?
Just called Quiktrip corporate.... the answer is YES they are putting in 10% ethenol into their gas. He said he doesnt have a list of which QTs already have it...but said they are starting to do this. His reply is that We will see all gas stations switching to this..and its only a matter of time.
So.... crappier 1/4 mile times. Will have to make up for it in the 104 octane blending.
I can already hear the excuses starting for next week....

umm dats dumb... but its so much cheaper to swich to methanol. gas prices will lower i bet.
I emailed Channel 2 Problem solvers about this info. Not sure what they'd do with it?
i doubt it...
well its cheaper to make, so it should sell cheaper... but minimum wage is going up... thus more taxes
I wonder if any other gas stations are doing this in Tulsa... how can we find out??
call them?
