rattle from drivers A-pillar

Anyone else have a rattle from the drivers side A pillar? I know it is there because if I push against that area when the noise is noticable, the rattle stops. It almost feels like the windshield isnt secured in there or something?

car is 2005 gt with 8,100 miles on it

comments?

Just took mine into the dealer for the same problem. All they did was remove the piller and put a felt insulator in there. I think all the new mustangs are doing it.

got the same problem - it sounds like the hard plastic A-pillar trim rubbing against the hard plastic dash top.

So how much difference does this felt make? I would take mine in for this as well, but if it is not going to make one rats butt of difference, I won't bother.

took it in for that and a couple other things. they have to replace my plastic a-pillar piece so they ordered a new one. I asked about the felt "fix" and they said it wouldnt help on mine.

Both of my A-pillar trim pieces had a rattle. The A-pillar trim would vibrate and hit the dash up by the windshield. The dealership replaced both A-pillars plastic trim pieces and no more rattles.
