rattle from drivers A-pillar

Anyone else have a rattle from the drivers side A pillar? I know it is there because if I push against that area when the noise is noticable, the rattle stops. It almost feels like the windshield isnt secured in there or something?:dunno:

car is 2005 gt with 8,100 miles on it

comments?

Just took mine into the dealer for the same problem. All they did was remove the piller and put a felt insulator in there. I think all the new mustangs are doing it.

got the same problem - it sounds like the hard plastic A-pillar trim rubbing against the hard plastic dash top.

So how much difference does this felt make? I would take mine in for this as well, but if it is not going to make one rats butt of difference, I won't bother.

took it in for that and a couple other things. they have to replace my plastic a-pillar piece so they ordered a new one. I asked about the felt "fix" and they said it wouldnt help on mine.

Both of my A-pillar trim pieces had a rattle. The A-pillar trim would vibrate and hit the dash up by the windshield. The dealership replaced both A-pillars plastic trim pieces and no more rattles.
