I am having an annoying problem with my security system. Every 30 minutes it goes off. No one around the car, just activates. I have taken it to 3 dealers who all blew me off, finally grabbed a saleman and asked him in front of other customers what good a warrenty was if no one would honor it on a one week old car. He went back and talked to the kid at the service counter, who got me a loaner car and assured me that they would get it fixed. They are also telling me that to have the alarm fixed they have to call in a specialist from Ford to come do it as normal service departments arent trained for that sort of thing. So far I like the car, but Ford service is lacking.

 

It is just the dealerships that are lacking.
They just want to sell cars, not fix them.
Rather than corner a salesman who didn't sell you the car, call the regional rep. and complain.
This is the kind of thing they can help with.

 

After the local dealer called in a Ford Accesory specialist the alarm now works and doesnt wake the nieghbors all night

 

Did you forget to let the dog out of the back seat after setting the alarm??? LOL
