One out of two correct - the taillight surrounds are painted black (with a little argent) as opposed to chrome/argent on regular Mustangs. Mirrors are the same. Still looking for one more item...

Nope, on '69s the headlight buckets were blacked out, but on '70s there was nothing special on Boss 302 cars.

Is the other item the back glass trim?

Ah, Mr. Webster, as a former owner of said car it is not unusual that you would get the correct answer. Yes, on 1970 Boss 302s, the rear window moulding was plain steel and painted black as opposed to stainless steel on all other 1970 Mustangs. You're up.

I'll pass this over to Cheese302 as he answered the other half of the question, and I might not be monitoring the board too closely the next day or two.

Something like this : Carroll is sitting arounds with a few guys trying to come up with a name. Turns to one and asks, "How far is it to that building over there?" Answer - "About 350 feet". Response - "OK, let's call it the G.T. 350. If it's a good car the name won't hurt and if it's a flop the name won't matter..."

In 1969, the Boss 302 , the Boss 429, and the 428CJ Mach 1 all came with Holley carbs from the factory. Which one had the largest carb (CFM wise)?

Yep, the Boss 302 carb was rated at 780cfm, while both the Boss 429 and 428CJ were rated at 735 cfm. Kind of backwards, wasn't it?

You're up...

Hoss, I think you are correct in that 1963 was the first year for 4 speed floor mounted trans. My Dad had a '62 Galaxie 406 car that was a column shifter 3 speed with overdrive that he later converted to floor shift. I know '63 Falcon Sprints were available with 4 on the floor. I know there were earlier floor shifts (like Model A), but I don't think they were 4 speeds.
