saw the RWB pinto in Hazel Green

HOSS,
I saw the red/white/blue Pinto outside a body shop in Hazel Green about 6 AM Sunday morning -
Is that your shop?

no .. my shop is at my home in new market .. i think you should have seen me at the body works gym in meridianville.. are you a bit confused perhaps ..anywho .. those folks at monstroserty garage aint got nuthin on me .. duct tape the tail lites in place and take a test drive .. everything seems to work .. just ran out of daylite before i could set the bed on .. i`m sure it wont bolt on but the hot wrench and welder can fix that ..

Yep - you are right - I noticed that body works sign as I drove by, but I didn't realize it was a gym - thought it was a different kind of body shop.

now the part i dont like

time to get out the sauve and the paint spreader .. lots of work yet surprisingly easy to change to the short bed .. of coarse when one has done some of the deeds iv`e done not too much cant be done .. now i`m kinda bored with it .. my fun is in making stuff fit

feature car today

my r code i had in 75 had an aluminum intake and dual point distributor with no vacuum advance .. was my stuff not stock ? . i do think somewhere there was a chrome script on mine that said " super cobra jet " .. perhaps on the shaker .. so long ago ... so stupid with cars back then ..

it also had black aluminum valve covers that said " lemans " i think ... something some where said lemans .. maybe jan remembers .. he wound up with the engine ..says he still has a few pieces of it ..

I had a black '69 428SCJ Mach 1 back in the '80s that I bought from a guy over in Holiday Homes. That wasn't yours, was it?

mine was dark blue .. fellow i sold it to took the 428 4speed out and put in a 6 banger out of a maverick .. i wound back up with the engine before jan boggs got it from me .. someone should remember a cobrajet stang with a 6 banger ??

halp !!

a fellow up the street has purchased a 86 vert .. the top will not completely close due to some hydrolic reasons he thinks and he has been told as a result his power windows will not raise .. anyone shed any lite on a remedy ..
