as you can see `im in a much better mood today .. i didn`t win the bid on the 393 stroker kit .. strange how the " buy it now " price disappeared in the last 20 minutes of bidding .. should`nt that be called "bait and switch " that used to be illegal .. oh well .. back together with the 351 .. i think i`m slowing down a bit anyway..

 

"Buy It Now" offers go away when real bids get to within a certain percentage. They are there to encourage you to buy it early in the auction.

i`m beginning to hate saturdays ... i`m sitting here starving to death cause everywhere i went to get something to eat there was 30 people in every line .. where does 10 zillion people come from on saturdays .. i already dont fill up my vehicles on saturdays for the long lines .. now i cant get food either .. the world needs a major catrostrophy ( is that spelled rite ) to get rid of about 75 % of the population .. i may volunteer to start working saturday in exchange for being off on mondays .. i dont like crowds .. 2 is company ..

 

blah blah blah...quit your complaining! Did you go to the Ardmore show? I didn't make it up there this year, but I thought they were selling hamburgers there last year. The off on Monday idea is probably a good one. Another friend of mine just changed his day off to Monday and really likes it, and the fact that most people are off on Fridays now. kennyg

 

yeah .. the ardmore show was good .. there was also a little cruise in at the resturaunt next to dixie metalcraft tonite .. i gave them a bit of a blast in my 351 pinto .. law was everywhere .. i had to cool it .. good thing the mustang is broke .. ( is it just me ?? i cant get photobucket to open !!.. ever other site ( **** and such ) is fine

 

one for you trans guys .. why does my V8 pinto push the trans dip stick out and blow fluid out when i get on it hard ..

i`m not liking this one bit .. i dont like my stang broke .. iv`e got to wait over a week for one piston .. i can get 8 for 180 bucks in three days .. 1 costs 65 bucks and takes two weeks .. ( huh ) `im off all next week and need to get this thing back on the road ..

 

probably something like Kennyg says - the vent is clogged or maybe the vacuum modulator line is clogged (or the modulator is bad)

sitting at the car wash i just witnessed something i think is kind of ( not good ) .. a state trooper just pulled over a truck with three occupants in the cab .. no doubt knowing the truck was fitted with only two seat belts he made one of the passengers get in the bed .. how much safer is the third guy sitting on the fenderwell than in the cab in the event of a wreck !!!

 

someone is " invisable " .. stupid camera .. just took my bike ride this morning and ran across an old car that i could get a shot of .. fired it up and it said " battery exhausted " then 5 minutes later nearly got run over by a herd of deer coming out of a corn field and crossing the road where i was .. scared the crap out of me and them .. some of them froze and i coulda got a pic but again " exhausted battery " stupid camera ..

it`s a lot worse than it looks .. hopefully the red and white will clean up with some tar remover .. the blue is damaged down to the primer .. the price one pays for fame .. one burnout to many .. the tire came apart..beat my quarter panel up pretty good .. it` was worth the yells and whoops i got .. sometimes i love being me ..

 

iv`e seen that tv movie a dozen times and i still cant get enuff of it .. may overtake ( raiders of the lost ark ) as my fav show .. was`nt there supposed to be a tv series to continue the saga .. i`m about 3 thirds buzzed so i may have to edit away some stuff tommprrow

 

HOSS, You need more decals and stickers from hot rod shops and manufacturers on your windows. kennyg

 

i haven`t made much progress getting the stang back together .. machine shop does`nt want to co-operate with me .. hopefully today i can put final assembly on the engine and with a minor thrash smell some smoke tomorrow .. i`m certainly doing away with the N.O.S .. i`ve converted it to just a purge unit .. no one will know im` not putting it thru the engine but the looks from kids will be priceless when i do the purge thing before i lay down some rubber .i want to put my 429 in something and go to the track a bit .. may want to try out for '' pinks " if they come to huntsville anytime soon ..i`ll work on getting some more of those stickers kenny .. i`m expecting about 600 bucks worth of tires today from summit .. for both pinto`s .. should get plenty stickers from them ..
