lots of drag racing on this road back in the day . (30 years ago...mind you .. hump creek) walker lane.. now it is repaved and has two new bridges but entirely too much traffic ... we used to see who could go the fastest on the main bridge .. a guy in a 455 olds cutlass was fastest most of the time .. he could hit 65 in about 200 feet .. and no .. i dont street race .. kids today dont know when to let off ..??

things started knocking and stuff went to rocking and oil is coming from everywhere .. just about blowed up my engine sunday so i guess it`s time to do that overhaul i`ve been putting off for two years .. gunna get a whole body makeover get rid of that snozz hood scoop and some more chrome ( i dont like chrome ).. change to a gold color with dif graffics . rebuild the suspension .. should be done by this weekend

quite the little storm thru hazel green yesterday .. several big trees down and limbs everywhere ..

 

Monday we had a storm down here and I hit a tree limb. Dropped right in front of me when I was doing around 35. Luckily it didn't do any damage.

with linelock- 351 automatic and bycylce tires it sure makes good fireworks ( smoke ) done burned off the rears so much i can see the air in the tires

Just a reminder to see how many would like to get together and cruise to the 3 events happening this date: Friday, July 4th.

We can meet at the far corner of the Martin's clothing store parking lot prior to 11 am; pulling out at 11 am and heading to Florence. Then later in the afternoon leaving Florence and cruise to Athens Square for their 4 pm cruise-in and possibly dinner at one of the local restaurants. Then leaving Athens and cruising to the Decatur 6th Ave Sonic Drive-in for their 6 pm cruise-in and our evening ice cream.
