If anyone could rescue all these cars, and would want to in the first place, it'd be him

 

jay is a great car guy .. he has always said he entered the entertainment buisness hoping he could make enuff money to support his car passion

 

 

There is a mustang in a barn on one of the roads going toward my aunts house in Gurley. Next time we go out there I will try to get a picture of it.

Looks to be a '95 model. They probably thought it might be a collectible someday since it was the last year for the 5.0

 

69 mach 1 in the huntsville times fer sale .. anybody know anything about it .. anybody looked at it ?? 4900 bucks .. says no rust ..

 

Already sold (Tuesday). It was in Cullman. Guy said an old lady had it in her garage under a bedspread for 20 years. Sounded like a good deal. I called at 8AM and someone was already on the way with cash and a rollback...

 

That sound like a great deal. I also believe there is a 65-66 in a barn on nick davis out towards athens. al;l i can see is the rear end. but its a red vert.

 

You're right - it's been there for years. Just past the prison on the right as you go to Athens.

 

Just remembered there is a 60s truck across from Monrovia Elementary that has weeds growing around it and the guy won't sell it or move it.

 

He called me a week or so ago and wanted $5000 then dropped to $4500. Has a 351W auto. kennyg

This guy was apparently helping someone out by listing it. Wonder if he got half? He had no idea what he was selling, had a buy it now of $4000, and someone offered him $500,000 to stop the auction. kennyg

 

Found - another barn full near Guntersville:

Met a gentleman yesterday - had two Panteras, an Avanti, a Pacer, a Hennessey Viper, a Corvette, a '72 Chevy truck, '71 Lincoln Mark III, and other various later model Lincolns, Cadillacs, etc.

 

i was looking for this thread just yesterday .. couldn`t remember it was "cars in barns " though .. i looked for " rust in piece " cant believe its` been dormant so long ..
