There was a house near me that had a 1969 Mach 1 with a 390 sitting in his drive way. sat there for about 15 years based on the last time the plate was renewed i watched it for atleast 5 of those years, and i even stopped one day to see if he would be willing to sell it. Of course the answer was no, he was going to do somthing with it some day. and then one day i drove by it was getting towed away and i never saw it again. Really sad to see a big block mach just rotting away.

someone older than me will have to answer that .. but it looks like it could have the way there is dividers on both sides ..and there once was a backyard full of corvairs up in vanntown tenn ,, i will take another look soon ..

 

Yes, it looks like a '57 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser.....a friends father had one years ago with 22K on it. The car had a push button automatic transmission as well. Not my taste but a neat car....

Yes, I did. The orange '70 was still there. I know the green one had been there at least 20 years. It was supposedly a 390 car.

this 4;10 Dana 60 rear end was rescued from an old dirt track car just moments before the crusher got it .. worth its weight in gold to someone with a dodge musclecar in need of one .. still has the gm brackets welded on and the gm wheel adapters ...
