the posts are slow in coming but the looks count keeps on climbing .. this was quite possibly the best overall hot rod iv`e ever had .. had all the drivetrain that i later put in my stang .. now the 429 is sitting in the floor again .. i need another 84 bird .. i`ll look back thru this thread and see if theys anymore i can add from my pics .. i know i have many non-fords i havent posted yet ..

i remember well a yellow aar cuda rotting away in new market in the early 80`s .. i think mgreene saw it as well .. i know a fellow who offered a restored 396 chevelle for it to no avail .. i dont know when it disappeared though ..

 

Actually, it's probably the one that one of my high school buddies had. Yellow AAR (around 1980-81 timeframe). He sold it for $2900 (after a new paint job) and didn't even offer it to me!

 

the gentleman that owns this truck passed away last week .. 91 years old .. when i got this shot he said it was going to one of his grand kids .. very low milage ..totally undamaged .. i will keep an eye on it ..

 

This is a very sad thread. My dad and I came across a 73 Mach 1 sitting in a field behind someones house. On are way back through the area we stopped at the house and asked about the car, the owner said he would sell it and another 73 mach 1 for 1200, the only thing the one in the field was way to far gone and he said the other one he had for sale would be only good for parts. Probally couldnt get a decent car out of two of them.



Looked similiar to this. Except it had trees and rust all over it.
