It will be interesting to see what they do with the hood.
I haven't seen any s197 hoods with the '68 GT treatment that really look right.
The '67/68 hood was much flatter, seemingly longer and maybe better suited to it.

I was contemplating the Boy Racer hood then I remember an interesting detail:

"... The car features the first use of an open-element air filter in a factory-produced, fuel-injected Mustang. Inspired by Ford Racing, the intake is tucked neatly behind the driver side headlamp, mounted in an air box that was tooled up specifically for the Mustang. The hood liner was extensively modified to provide a full seal to the air box, ensuring that the engine is fed a steady diet of cooler air..."

Yup exactly what I was thinking. Don't know how they'd get around that.

Most aftermarket hoods are not provisioned for a hood liner. If Ford went through the trouble of modifying the hood liner it was for a reason, likely to be associated with the intake of cold air and temperature relating to maximum performance of its tune which I will not disturb. I guess I'll just have to live with the stock hood.

Depends on rather you think the number of slots (12 for the '68 louver vs 5 for the SHR) is more important than having the louver actually have slots and be part of the car (flush-mounted vs stick-on)
