Ok here you go. My 1st drive.
Funny, my neighbor later told me he felt as though he was being disrespectful using his leaf blower

Thanks for putting that back up. I could see why you were disappointed in the video format. If you get a chance, I'd like to hear it at start up and some revs. Maybe even a drive away. I just want to hear what a SGT sounds like without music, leaf blowers, etc.
Thanks Mark. Beautiful car!

Added some CS wheels caps. Got them from TMS's very own Kevin Casey. Need to get some pix in the daytime as the flash bulb makes them look a lighter shade of blue. In normal light they match much better to the Vista Blue.

Hey Mark, they actually fit? I ask, as I've been told that they were only for their wheels, due to the way the caps are shaped. Thats SWEET that the do fit. Looks great. As soon as I saw them released, they were added to my car ASAP. No red on my car anywhere, and the red "CS" stood out against a blue car like a sore thumb.

Actually red can look pretty good on a Blue Shelby GT.

As far as fit, check out this thread, especially post 12.

Our Kevin Casey checked them out personally and I can vouch that they do indeed fit snug. Now the lip is a little smaller on the CS caps but it still looks great.

I was born in Norfolk General Hospital.... All of my family is originally from that area and it is still home to all of my earliest memories. I returned to the Hampton Roads area in 1988 and lived there until 1996.
Anyway, congrats on yoru new Stang and thanks for bringing back the memories of me taking home the then new 1994 Mustang...I remember being so excited when that car first came out with the main classic Mustang cues back in place... It was the Mustang I always hoped Ford would build.... Except who knew many years later in 2008 I would get one better than I could ever imagined...

Great story Mark. I was "reliving" all the anticipation. Now I know the story behind the car and the driver! Interestingly I had ordered my SGT while you were still waiting on yours. I understand the frustration with the shipping dates as my wife and I were told incorrectly on several occasions that my car had shipped, had been delivered, for several months. Ours was scheduled for delivery 20 DEC 07 but we did not get it until the first week of March. One of the times they said it was delivered to the dealer, it was actually delivered to SAI! Again, excellent read. I am glad you didn't delete the thread. I can't wait to get home from the desert myself and enjoy the SGT again.
