I don't know if I might ask someone a favor? On 12/21/07, I took delivery of my 2008 california special mustang. Man,what a car!!! Just last week, I returned to the dealer to request an HVBoM . What I recieved was an oasis report. Just not the same! They acted like they never heard of an HVBoM report! Could someone please help me? My VIN#1ZVHT82H785161985. From what I have seen ,everyone is friendly here and if I can help someone, I will! PM jeffvistagtcs he can get you the report that you are looking for. He works for Ford and can get you your HVBoM report. When I went to the Parts dept and asked for the report they loggon on to their website and printed off my report for my car.

 

Just goes to show you,there is a difference in dealers. I will wait to hear from jeffvistagtcs . At this point,I would rather hear from someone in this forum than anywhere else because at least here people seem to care.

I sure appreciate your help . My oasis was a single page with information about warranty info. Pretty much a blank page because the car is so new that no record has started yet.

The report for me is a close to a build sheet as we can get these days since the days of build sheets being behind the seats or somewhere in the car are gone. It will give you the equipment that was either added or deleted by the factory based on how the car was ordered from the dealer which is pretty cool to me. It also will verify on our case that the car was built as a GT/CS and not just a regular GT. But over all it is just a nice piece of documentation about your ride.

You can also email Ford and ask for a "Build Sheet" as the call it but it just shows a few options on your car and mail you the document. Here is what that looks like.

Thank you, jeffvistagtcs for your posted message and your help. I'll be looking forward to that info tomorrow. The reason I need the info is that I'm interested in those dash plaques to personalize my car. I don't plan on ever selling the gtcs--ever!!
