First,Imust thank jeffvistagtcs for getting my build info so quickly. I know that everything is correct about the info but I didn't realize untill I read it that it only took 3 weeks from start to delivery!! But there is a good reason why this happened. Back in Nov.18/07 ,I took delivery of my FIRST 2008 GTCS . It was a dealer trade from Columbus, Ohio. WHAT A CAR!! Just 3 days later, I get a call from my dealer;' Hey Rich, We have a problem. You need to bring your car back. THERE IS SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOUR CAR NEEDS THAT WASN'T IN THE BUILD! Come to find out,the state of PA. went California emissions compliant for 2008 model year. My first car was not built to California emissions standards. Seems it comes 2 ways! And, because it wasn't compliant, I couldn't get a title by the state!! So we started over, ordered again, except this time ,fo inconveniencing me, they agreed to up-grade to a shaker 1000 at no additional cost! Ithink a factory rep. got involved because of all the problems caused by this episode.
