Just ordered!! Now what?
Hi all, I'm new to the forum.
I just bought one! '07 GT/CS Redfire, Auto, GT appearance pkg, Interioir upg.
Can people who've gone through the process tell me roughly when to expect getting the VIN assigned to me, and when the car will be at the dealer ready for me?
Thanks so much!

Check here for some infor. Also to make time pass alittle better send away for some Mustang catalogs to see what you might want to do to make it better.

It took 9 weeks for mine. There was a holdup on the wheels for awhile due to the Shelby GT's gettting them, I think. At a month I checked in and they had nothing for me. A month later, they not only had a VIN but a delivery date, and then it showed up 2 days before that! Hope that helps some.

Hi. First post, GT/CS will be 3rd Stang (68-90-07). I've been watching/reading since Jan 07. Ordered a V/B CS 1/29/07 for wife's b'day, this w/e. It's not here yet. Dealer says it's in MI and if Ford will release it, he'll get. Good relations with this Dealer on past purchases. Is Ford jerking him around or me?

You 07 guys are lucky. Back in 05, I had to wait four months as did many others. Glad to see that you don't have a very long wait. While waiting you can stock up on all the best washing and waxing supplies, organize your garage where you keep that stuff so it is easy to get at, put up some Mustang posters, go to car shows, and buy some Mustang clothing to wear when you go out cruising in it! Have fun and before you know it your wait will be over (as long as it is not four months).
