Is it just me or does it seem like folks are having more issues with their cars? I have been excited about the Mustangs for a while, became very excited with the 5.0, trying to get a daughter through college in order to buy one. Things are lining up for this year or next but reading all the bad experiences with the car and some bad dealership experiences makes me hesitant. Transmissions seem to be a regular recurring problem, 5.0 oil consumption, knocking or just outright coming apart, front ends, etc. Deysha seems to be a big help to folks in need but to be honest, i'm not so sure anymore. Is it me or is something else going on?
You have a warranty, I've not ever been denied a warranty claim, and all concerns have been addressed by the dealers.

I agree with kn7671. Forums are where alot of folks come to talk about their problems. So, you see more than average. The Wifey's '10 GT w/14000 miles has had only two problems, both fixed with no questions by the Dealer. You can't ask for more than that. The car is more fun than a barrel of Monkey's. If you plan on buying any car buy just reading forums, I dare say you will be walking for a long time.
