No point in arguing with eci, I don't think he's even a human being as much as AI computer with all information on everything about mustangs both fact and opinion. Actually, I'm pretty sure he's a 13 year old who just likes bragging about his daddy's GT500.....seriously.

I drag raced 10 different 85 Mustang GT's my first time out at Suffolk Dragway,VA and beat them all by at least 5 car lengths. The car mags got 14.9'sto 15.2's when they tested the 85 and my first pass was a 14.70. Bone stock my car was running 14.50's with 2.79 gears (I got it down to low 14's with a K&N filter, carb spacer and UD pullies...13.89 w/slicks)
You still have that thing? me thinks it might be pretty valuable...

It burned to the ground while I was at the 1996 Olympics.

I was really interested in the 2010s because of the upgraded interior, but didn't want to buy the year before the release of such an incredible motor. I also don't want to trade in my car just to have to take parts off the new car to have them painted. So I've been waffling ever since...

I am interested to see what is offered as a special edition...I want something with NO black plastic on the exterior!

I noticed eci was someone that complained at end about the lack of tech here, but never contributed any himself.

IMO

Too many complaints/violations will do that to you. Not just one thing.

And tech? LOL.

Im going to be getting an '11 GT Convertible, in Sterling Grey, with saddle interior if it's possible to do that combo, also will be adding brembos and track pack, if im able too

I really can't wait to have this thing parked in my driveway, and the wait is almost over!

You have good taste! I'm thinking about SG/Saddle, but in a coupe. With the Brembos, Electronics, Comfort, and Glass Roof. Either that or Yellow Blaze/Dark Charcoal with the Rapid Spec 401A if they have yellow accents.
