I was replying to this post from you. I guess I thought when someone said '12 wiring harness I assumed it would be from a 2012 thus not requiring any splicing.

No problem tapping into a wire for power (getting the correct wire would be a plus )

Anyone have a ballpark price for a new mirror with the garage door opener? Reckon it's gonna be spendy because of the automatic dimming...

If you have sync, you can't replace the mirror because the mic is in the mirror. I bought the 12 harness and spliced into the mirror feed.
