You beat me to it. There are a couple of threads about this. Someone tried to get a wire harness from the '12 to make it work but you still have to end up splicing into a power source somewhere. I ended up getting a key fob type garage door opener and I have it attached to my factory key.

No problem tapping into a wire for power (getting the correct wire would be a plus
