Probably should be contacting your dealer on that. Mine has the 3 buttons. It works real nice.

Not on the 2011 unfortunately (even though some brochures state it is).

Confirm the VIN on the car with the Window sticker,,, make sure they didnt sell you a 2011 instead of 2012 car.

Yeah it's probably a 2011. What's the chances two stray visors got put into inventory? Unless he's a REALLY early 2012 and they didn't have the parts yet, but that still seems unlikely since it was always advertised to have it.

You have a "misbuild." Ford gives the dealer just a couple days to catch the missing equipment and report it to have Ford pay for the fix. After that, Ford won't pay for the fix, so get back to the dealer ASAP.

Does anyone know if the mirror assembly with garage door opener is a direct retrofit to the 2010-11 cars?

It will fit but you have to tap into wiring to make it work. I think people have tapped into the map light wiring to get it done.

You beat me to it. There are a couple of threads about this. Someone tried to get a wire harness from the '12 to make it work but you still have to end up splicing into a power source somewhere. I ended up getting a key fob type garage door opener and I have it attached to my factory key.

I wouldn't think having a 2012 they will have to splice into anything. The harness from the factory should include a provision to plug the visor in.

I don't think they will have to splice anything for yours -- only for a 2011 retrofit.

The question was about a 2010-2011 retrofit. Up a few posts.
