Yes, no traction with stock tires I have 15,000 miles on the stock 18 inch tires, about half worn. I have an automatic trans. I'm not sure if 3.55's would help on my traction issue but i'm happy with the 3.73's.

But the most is 3.31 gear ratio from Ford. I believe having 3.73 gears on the 11 plus v6 turns the car in a different animal from 2.73 or 3:31. The 11 plus is not that far off from previous GT HP and Torque numbers and 3.55 or 3.73 are the bomb. No reason why the 11 plus shouldn't have them as well. With a Sct bama tuner and cold air intake one can easily raise the HP and Torque to equal or greater than a 10 GT.
I disagree with this comment. Even with the money you save from the Premium Performance package you are missing so many great features the the money saved would not give you. One of the reasons I got rid of my 06 was because it was based on the base model. I had the leather but not the other great features of a premium. The PP v6 Premium is like was stated one of the best buying packages on the market. You having a base of course would say to go that option. I had 3:73's put in my 06 and ran $800.00 installed with T-lock and that was for a 7.5 rear. we now have the same rear as the GT's so gears are a easy cheap option if you wanted to step up the ratio. Best thing to do IMO is go to the dealer and check out a PP, a base and a pony package.

I tried to make a new youtube video and do some 0 to 60 and 1/4 mile times with my G-Tech, i can't get enough traction. I ran 5.4, 0 to 60 times before the gears and the aluminum driveshaft. I ran a 7.8 second 0 to 60 after the gears and driveshaft becaues i didn't get traction until 80 m.p.h. . I need to get some drag radials
If I went from a 5.4 0-60 to a 7.8 seconds I would not be happy. Little disappointing to hear that. I was thinking of the 3.73 gears would of greatly improved your 0-60 time, not add over 2 seconds to it. Omg. Wow. Even stock tires I am shocked about the 2 second loss of time.

It will improve 0-60 with good tires

+1.

Why I'm so happy is because i am overpowering the factory tires with a V-6 . I just installed my Mellow (by choice) tune i had Gus at Steeda make me a few months ago, traction is a little better but still nothing to brag about.
